The Talking Plant Application (TAMARA) is an Internet of Things-based automatic plant monitoring and management application. The application has a monitoring feature that allows users to find out the state of plants from a distance with only an internet network. Applications can display plant status such as temperature, soil pH, etc. through the Android interface. Other technologies that will be applied to applications are Artificial Intelligent technology in the form of Text to Speech (TTS) and Speech to Text (STT). Users can give voice commands to the Tamara Application which the application will respond to later. The Tamara application will display text and voice responses to the user. This TTS and STT technology will make it easier for users touse apps and make apps more human-like and “smart”.
